Terms and conditions described hereby are applicable to all the services, cruises, and tours contracted with LAKE & MOUNTAIN. These general terms and conditions also apply to any third party services sold by LAKE & MOUNTAIN.

The user of LAKE & MOUNTAIN services is deemed to have read and accepted this section.

LAKE & MOUNTAIN reserves the right to change prices in the event of any price increases beyond the control of LAKE & MOUNTAIN including, the price of the fuel and/or fluctuations on Government taxes.

Any physical disability that may require special attention or treatment should be reported in written to LAKE & MOUNTAIN.

Trip members have the responsibility to select a trip appropriate to their abilities and interests, LAKE & MOUNTAIN will not pay for any expenses incurred for medical reasons.

Trip members are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the trip. LAKE & MOUNTAIN and its services providers take no responsibility for special arrangements or problems incurred by passengers physically unable to participate in the planned activities.

Trip members release LAKE & MOUNTAIN of any responsibility for accidents, illness, or any other event that may occur while traveling in Ecuador.

We will endeavour to operate all tours as requested. Nevertheless, reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed necessary or advisable by LAKE & MOUNTAIN, including substitution with comparable hotel, yacht, attractions, service. If upgrade is necessary, higher rates may apply. If LAKE & MOUNTAIN makes a major change we will inform the client as soon as possible and client may choose between: accepting the change, accepting any alternative tour offered or a compensation.

It will be mandatory to all the passengers using LAKE & MOUNTAIN services to have a valid travel insurance before coming to Ecuador. We highly recommend purchasing traveller's insurance for trip delay, trip cancellation, baggage, accident, and sickness.

LAKE & MOUNTAIN accepts no responsibility for discrepancies between verbal quotes, information and written quotes. After payment has been made, all information contained on the itinerary is considered correct and will be operated by LAKE & MOUNTAIN.

Payment must be fully credited in LAKE & MOUNTAIN account prior to the date of any sort of service, cruise, or tour contracted.


BOOKING & CANCELLATION GUIDELINES

All reservation requests, change in reservation and/or payments shall be advised to LAKE & MOUNTAIN via Fax - Email - Phone. In writing to fax: (593 2) 2463904 or E- Mail: lakem@uio.satnet.net

Reservations will be confirmed when payment is fully credited in LAKE & MOUNTAIN account.


Cancellation fees are detailed as follows:

60 days prior to the date of the service, cruise, our tour, no cancellation fee. 10% reimbursement fee will apply for administrative expenses.

59-30 days prior to the date, 20% fee of the total of the service, cruise, or tour.

29-15 days prior to the date, 50% fee of the total of the service, cruise, or tour.

14-0 days prior to the date, 100% fee of the total of the service. Therefore, no reimbursement will be made.

PASSENGERS PERSONAL INFORMATION

To issue final confirmation of services, LAKE & MOUNTAIN requires:

Passengers complete names
Passport numbers & passport copy in case of children
Dietary requirements, if any, must be notified to LAKE & MOUNTAIN in written.
Nationality
Date of birth
Language spoken and mother language
In special cases we will need further information such as: height, weight, physical condition, etc. to be able to provide the best accomodations and services.
