ITINERARY

DAY 1: BALTRA - SCIENTIFIC STATION CHARLES DARWIN
Departure from Quito to Galapagos with TAME or AEROGAL airline (07h30 or 08h30)
Snack on board on the way to Galapagos
Arrival to Galapagos, through Guayaquil, at 09h30 (Galapagos time, 10h30 time Ecuador continental)
Transfer to Hotel (From airport by bus to the Itabaca Channel, cross of the Itabaca Channel and arrival at Santa Cruz highlands, then transfer to hotel in Puerto Ayora).
Arrival to hotel and check in.
In the afternoon, visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station where one can see turtles, land and marine iguanas, endemic flora of Galapagos; learn about environment conservation projects, among other activities.

DAY 2: PLAZAS ISLANDS

Departure early in the morning from your hotel and transfer to port of Itabaca channel to board the yacht where you will enjoy the tour
This is the southern partner of two small crescent-shaped islands that lie just a few hundred meters off the east coast of Santa Cruz.
The approach makes for a lavishly colorful sight! The turquoise waters of the channel contrast brilliantly with the white sand and black lava of the shoreline.
The shoreline of Las Plazas makes for excellent snorkeling in a sea lion colony of nearly a thousand.

DAY 3: BARTOLOME ISLAND

Visit Bartholome island, it is situated across Sullivan Bay. It has an altitude of 114mts, from where we can observe one of the most beautiful sceneries of the Galapagos Islands, such as: volcanic ones, lunar-like craters, lava fields and the famous pinnacle formed of Toba eroded by the sea. There is very little vegetation on this island. It has two breathtaking beaches where marine turtles exist and at the base of the pinnacle, is a very small colony of Galapagos penguins. Lunch on board.

DAY 4 : SEYMOUR ISLAND

Departure early in the morning from your hotel and transfer to port of Itabaca channel to board the yacht, where you will enjoy the tour
North Seymour Island was lifted from the ocean floor by a seismic event, and its origins as a seabed give the island its low, flat profile.
Also we will visit Las Bachas, a sandy white-coral beach that is a major egg-laying site for sea turtles. Bachas are notches, and the beach's name refers to the indentations left in the sand by both laying turtles and their departing hatchlings.

DAY 5 : BALTRA - QUITO
After breakfast, transfer out and trip back to Quito or Guayaquil.
