White water rafting in
Ecuador is a unique and exciting adventure. Lake & Mountain
offers rafting tours from 1 to 8 days on Ecuador's wild water
rivers, which originate in the snow-capped volcanoes and flow
down towards the coast or deep into the Amazon jungle. Special
previous knowledge is not required. The safety regulations for
a trouble-free course of rafting are learned easily.
Napo
River (Class III)
The upper Napo River is also known locally as the Jatunyacu River,
which means BIG WATER in Quichua. Big is probably the best word
to describe this river: Big water, big waves and big fun! The
adventure begins where the road ends, in a remote spot in the
jungle. This is the highest accessible point of the Napo River.
The fun begins immediately with large rapids intermingled with some calm pools that give you a
chance to fully relax and take you to enjoy this spectacular scenery. This
is our most popular rafting trip. No
previous rafting experience is necessary!

Quijos
River (Class IV+)
1 Day Quijos river trip over 50km
The International Rafting Federation chose this river to be the
headquarter for the Rafting World Championship carried out from

The Quijos river is set to become Ecuador's premier white water
trip with mile after mile of class IV-IV+ rapids and spectacular
jungle scenery. Expect to run more white water in a day than you
would do in two days elsewhere. The Quijos river is also for Kayakers
a dream river..! If you are fanatic of these sports you should
not miss this full adrenaline experience. The best time to dip
your paddle depends on how hard you want to push yourself. For
experts we offer this river tours from September to March. At
this time you can expect high flows and continuous whitewater
